The Serralves in Festa proposes to celebrate Serralves as an inclusive space of contemporary art and culture, also incorporating the thought and practices related to the reflection on the environment and the landscape. This is the largest event of contemporary culture in Portugal and one of the largest in Europe, with hundreds of activities taking place in the various spaces of the Serralves Foundation and also in some places in the city of Porto. Over the years it has become a mandatory point of passage for thousands of Portuguese and foreign visitors and in 2018 has beaten all public records by receiving more than 249 thousand visitors.
